Ian’s Pizza marketing site — desktop hero
§01 · Brief 25 yrs

I an’s had 25 years of craft-pizza personality baked into every illustration on the old site — a cityscape menu gate, Uncle Sam in an apron, a cartoon crowd mural. The work was beautiful. The problem was that the site had been built as a WordPress blog wearing that illustration work as a skin, so the front door was a chronological feed, the menu was two clicks deep, and Thanksgiving 2K17 was still surfacing on the homepage.

§03 · Before / After

Same craft. New grammar.

Before After
Old homepage — a chronological tile grid. No hero, no positioning, no primary CTA. The homepage was a blog. New homepage — locations-first hero, a real front door, and a conversion CTA given the prominence it had earned.

Gate Menu
Old /menus — a skyline illustration and five city buttons. Food was ~10 seconds away on a desktop. New menu — per-city URL, anchor-jump section nav, inline dietary icons, three-tier price ladder.
